I just read Julie and Julia: 365 days, 524 recipes, 1 tiny apartment kitchen. I know that I'm well behind on the times, as the project concluded ages ago, but I kept meaning to read the book and had yet to do so. I read it all in a couple of hours when I was at home sick on the weekend and I really enjoyed it. It made me want to cook up a storm but also made me appreciate what a nice clean kitchen I have, unlike Julie Powell's. Some of those passages were a little tough on my neat freak self.
Also - we took her recommendation and ordered a bacon and jalapeno pizza - SO GOOD!
